I'd like to know if someone can explain how discovery licensing works. What number does the licensing number count towards? I'm unclear on what it actually applies to and whether or not we're under or over. This is not regarding software license tracking.

I asked one of our seasoned PS folks Doug Schulze and he responeded:
cmdb_ci_hardware
Discovery Source = Servicenow
Most recent discovery = within the last year (or contractual year)
Hope this helps.

Do we need to share report off the cmdb_ci_hardware table with Service Now while 'License Audit'. or contract renewal.
if yes, then how i can get the same report in encrypted format. i don't want to disclose the data. and
If no, then how service now charge against the license.
Thanks

Hello,
Can some tell me why we are using the filter most discovery last 90days. Does it give all the count?
I am looking for a report how many license are being used till the time?
Thanks
