I have been asked to start Discovering Vcenters and Storage&backup(Huwaie) Devices. I have all the IP information which are need to be discovered and I can start creating the discovery schedules, But...
I have requested for the Credentials & Port Opening for vCenter and Storage&backup devices, Kindly verify if i have requested right informations for both vCenter & Storage&backup devices.
BELOW ARE THE DETAILS I HAVE REQUESTED
Ports for Vcenter :
443,9443,5480,135
Creds for Vcenter :
Vcenter creds with read-only role.
Ports for Storage and Backup :
5988,5989,427
Creds for Vcenter :
CIM Creds with Admin Access.
Do i need SIMS installation ? if so how and what futher ports will be requested to be opened and from which end ?
My question is > am i missing something, Do i need to request anyting more ?......
