Hello  Experts ,

Apart from servers, In CMDB table what all we consider as a node ??? and what is exact definition of  a node ??

Thanks for your response I have one more question 

Does license is counted for VM ((virtual Machines) also or single license is counted for physical server no matter how many VMs are there in that Physical Server. For Example: Let us assume there is one Windows Server which has 5 VMs allocated to different teams for different project. There are 10 database in total on these 5 VMs and 12 applications are running. Now questions if that if I want all these VMs, Database and applications to be discovered in SNOW then do I need only one license since all are on single physical server or do I need separate license for each VMs OR do I need separate license for even Database or applications?

Hi,

 

VM's are not being considered as Nodes for License purpose.

Incorrect.

 

Read this

VM's are part of Server table but they are not consider Licence Nodes.
