Hi All,

I am learning discovery and i am planning to discover my personal laptop and software installed in my personal laptop ,is this possible if so can you please guide me on this

Hi @kali ,

Just to confirm, the discovery you’re referring to is “Horizontal Discovery,” correct? If so, you’ll need a server or server VM, and your personal laptop should be on the same network as the server. Then, you’ll need to install the MID Server on the server, after which you can perform a quick discovery.

But discovering the End user devices we don't suggest using the Horizontal discovery , instead you can go with ACC-VC
