Hi,
When the discovery process is running on laptops is there a way to get the Warranty expiration date?
Thanks,

This type of information will not be provided by Discovery directly, at least OOB. Warrant and other related license information should be available in the Software Asset Management module, you can define the related software product lifecycle for the respective software model:
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/sandiego-it-asset-management/page/product/software-asset-management2/concept/calculated-lifecycles.html
What Discovery will do is to collect the list of installed software running on the laptops. This will then be reconciled with the software model via software discovery model where you can track the licensing and warranty details.

Warranty is really a hardware asset property, not a CI property.
https://docs.servicenow.com/en-US/bundle/sandiego-it-asset-management/page/product/contract-management/concept/c_UseContractManagement.html
If you have a standard vendor, you might be able to do an automated lookup on the serial number with a vendor's portal and update the information automatically based on your asset records to create the right contract record. In many cases, it's also possible to get the information in the procurement workflow when managing hardware assets to do the same.
