Discovery Roles.

Hi,
Is there a Discovery Role available/ or configurable in SNOW which only allows "read only" access to the user which means no creation, update or deletion should be allowed to this role. 

Please share available docs. related to this setup.

Hi Anupam,

Yes so in this case the role decided is sync_read_only but to grant read only access, you will have to customize the read ACLs on the tables related to Discovery.

My personal advise not to do that, why would you want users to see the Discovery tables and set up done in read only format.

Hi Sajilal,

So what I understand there is no particular role allotted by SNOW for "read only" purpose but we can make changes in the ACL and grant it accordingly. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Also do you have any related SNOW docs referring which I can create ACL for "roles" according to the requirement.

Is this ready Only Access for all the table in servicenow. I mean He can read all the data of the table just like Admin, but will not be able to make any changes {Admin with Read Only Role} is that Correct??
