Discovery Warnings: Script error in sensor: ReferenceError: "pattern" is not defined.

Hello ServiceNow experts,

We generally don't receive any response when we post anything on community for help, yet thought we would give it another go. So here it goes:

Since April, we have had the following warning and error messages appearing in all Discovery status records. They do not prevent discovery; however, floods the Discovery log tab in the status record. We have not changed anything from our end. We are on Vancouver release. We have checked the System log > Errors but could not find anything useful.

Has anyone encountered this situation and have a solution?

Hello @Kalpan2,

To troubleshoot Discovery errors in ServiceNow, begin by verifying MID Server health, then check Discovery logs for errors, followed by testing network connectivity, and finally, verifying credentials and CMDB dataSpecific errors like "classified but couldn't identify" might require checking the Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE) rules.
