I have a VM that is on a DMZ in Azure. The discovery credentials are on the VM locally with admin rights. I can remote to the VM using the discovery credentials and the external IP, but when I run discovery against the external IP, discovery says no valid credentials found. Why?
The reason I'm hitting the external IP because there are 13 VM's in different subscriptions with the same private IP.

The discovery credentials are on the VM locally with admin rights- It ok. I assume this is ur mid server.
What about the VMs which you have to discover ? is Same cred works on the other VMs too?
Service Now Instance ---------Mid Server VM ---------- Host1 / Host2 / Host3 (ur hosted Infra).

No. The VM is the only one in an Azure Subscription and it's on a DMZ. The discovery credentials are on that VM with admin rights to the VM.
I can remote to the VM using the discovery credentials and its external IP.
When I try to discover it with my mid server by its external IP discovery finishes saying that no valid credentials were found
