Check out this video I found on YouTube - it is very informative and even walks you through, albeit at a high level, setting up an AWS Account for testing purposes.

The cross role is the part I was most confused on, as was a resource providing me with guidance, and this clarified how we were configuring AWS Discovery - leveraging an EC2 instance in a Member account to discovery the entire AWS Organization.
Basically, you setup the EC2 instance in the member account, setup the roles in the Member account, the Master Account, set your properties in ServiceNow. From there you setup Discovery against the Master account, leveraging the Member as the 'Accessor' account, and it should work swimmingly well!
