Does anyone integrated servicenow with Flexera Software "FlexNet Manager suite for Enterprises".

Hello Balz,

We are in the process of implementing the Flexera to Service-Now integration.   One of the questions we have for you is regarding software categorization.

Since Flexera gets it software categorization from a worldwide database, we wanted to export that and import it into Service-Now.   Do you know if this is possible?   If it is not, how did you determine the categorizations for software in your CMDB?   Your guidance would be greatly appreciated!

How did you establish the communications between the two systems?   Via API, jdbc?   Is this out-of-the-box integration?   Also, what version of ServiceNow are you on?   Our Flexera representative and integration partner stated that out-of-the-box integration was not supported an is currently not even on the road map.   They offered to create a custom integration with mapping, etc. but it came with a huge price tag.   I'm amazed to hear someone already running the integration and how easy and quick it was to get the two systems communicating and the mapping established.   They made is sound as if it was a Herculean effort.
