Hi Team,

i am new to servicenow, i would like to install servicenow in my test server.
can you please let me know from where i can download the servicenow setup? does it require license?

there is no such thing as Service now setup.Its a cloud applcation.
For playing around u can log on to demo.service-now.com
I think u should need to go through wiki to get a idea about Product.

my requirement is to integrate servicenow with one of monitoring tool. the monitoring tool will send the data and this data needs to be converted into incident in servicenow.

with this requirement, will i be able to test the integration by accessing demo.service-now.com? (i dont have to install service now)

in answer probably not.. unless your monitoring tools are exposed to the web you will need a midserver to talk to the SN servers... i would talk to your sales rep about setting up a demo for you.. they should be able to hook you up with a temporary site that you can play with.. and maybe setup a mid server for you...

they do this a LOT to demo SN and are pretty good at it.

If you want to integrate with any HP tools ( I've seen you are from HP, Bengaluru from your account page) you can do it using Web Services, regardless of whether your HP is inhouse ( i.e has a Private address and connects to internet via Proxy) the only issue in this kind of integration is the tool on the HP Side (the one that is in-house) need to pull Web services on Service Now.

Now I have worked on integration of HP OO which is in-house with Service Now. We did both Push and Pull from HP OO to Service Now.

But yes, Installing a MID server is the best option where you will have the option to Pull from HP, and Push from Service Now.

The reason why i am telling you all this , I am sure that this monitoring tool of yours can be for sure integrated with HP OO.
