Email is send-ignored (skipped)

Hello Guys,

Seems to be some issue in email notification. this is how it looks, its send-ignored.

I checked the error string and its blank.

Email weight is 0

User profile looks good.

Email logs also not showing any reason why its skipped.

What could be the reason.

Hello Nikh,



This may because at the same time two different notification are generating form incident table for the same user may be .In the notification there is   aa field weight.The notification with higher weight takes precedence and get executed and the other notification get ignored.


If you set the weight to 0 for both the notification you will get both email

There are no emails generated to that user during that time. All our notifications are with weight 0

Navigate to outbox > skipped and you will find in the logs why it is being skipped as shown in the screen shot.

  • send - ignored: The server skipped sending this email. Typically, this is for an email which was generated but lacked a recipient email address or is a duplicate email. See the Error String field for details.


Are you sure the email recipient are valid address. Can you check the notification device of the recipients?
