Enabling Multisource CMDB - How Do I activate the ITOM Discovery License plugin

Hello,

Having issues enabling multisource CMDB - I have added the system property already: https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/paris-servicenow-platform/page/product/configuration-management/reference/components-multisource-cmdb.html

I believe this correct using admin role, but can't activate plugin. Please help.

Thanks

That was my question to you earlier already:

"Can you share the exact steps you executed?"

Please do so. Now your not providing the exact steps unfortunately. So where are you looking for the plugin? Or is this just the search used which didn't return any results?

For plugins, you could open v_plugin.list or navigate to:

System Definitions > Plugins

Can you share the exact steps you executed? If I reproduce what the task says, works instantly.

I impersonated admin in the instance, added the Multisource CMDB system property glide.identification_engine.multisource_enabled and set it to 'true'.

Where are you inputting "com.snc.itom.discovery.license" in the instance? I believe this is my problem, nothing seems to populate for it when I search for it?

That's the plugin which needs to be activated.

Ok, I just edited the value to "true", it didn't specify that that was required. And to confirm this needs to be done at an admin level, correct?

I'm still not getting any results:

Not sure why you mentioned "I impersonated admin in the instance"

Why impersonating? When login in to the simulator instance, your account has automatically the admin role, correct?

Concerning the property, it clearly says to set is as "true".
