Error "User credentials cannot be used for local connections" while discovering MID Server

Hello folks,

I am trying to discover a server which is our MID Server. When i am trying to test the credentials, its displaying "Connection successful" whereas when i am discovering it via Discovery its giving me error as "User credentials cannot be used for local connections"

I have all the permissions and proper credentials configured for discovering the MID Server IP but still unable to discover.

Can anyone please help me to suggest what would be the resolution of this issue.

Any quick help is much appreciated.

Thanks,

Pranita Bahuguni

Hello Pranita,

This error means that the credentials you are using for the discovery are not valid for local connections.

To solve this, make sure that you have used the proper credentials for local connections and that the user has the required permissions to access the server.

Hello Pranita,

I am having problem just like this. Did you already found the solution for this? If you do, could you teach me how? Or could anyone teach me how to fix this?

Thanks.
