We currently have an integration between few applications for event management
some of these applications are already sending events and we are receiving them but when we are trying to apply the event rules and bind the events/alerts to CI we are facing an issue
1) Some of the events only have the SysID of the CI and there are no other details (Class, Type, Identier) being received in the events
2) Some of the CI data we are receiving in the events do not have the whole information about the CI for instance we are only receiving the host name and for some we are receiving the sys ID.
1) I have 2 questions, am i missing something which needs to be done after the CI data is received in the JSON Payload.?
2) When we receive the CI data almost every event do not have the right CI information, Is this how the event data is supposed to be received or am i missing anything? which needs to be fixed on the source from where the data is being sent.
