Is there a way to exclude 20+ IP's from being scanned during Discovery other than adding in the "discovery_range_item_exclude" table. We have many discovery schedules and its a tedious process to enter all the 20 IP's in the exclusion list every time. Additionally, we don't want to change Script Include functions of Discovery or customizing Shazzam probes.
Any configurations that can be made in the MID Server will be helpful.

We released global excludes to address this concern.

Hi Doug,
Is there a way to exclude certain hostnames? So we have a Large Subnet where all devices are getting registered Servers , Laptops , Network Devices etc , the IP Assignments are not "ranged" , but all our Laptops , Desktops or Workstations begin with EUCXXXXX1 , so we would like to exclude Discovery for all devices named EUCXXXX (since SCCM is doing this discovery)
Kindly confirm if Name based or String based Exclusion is something being discussed.

No, it is IP based only. You could do that exclusion in the classifier, but you would need credentials to first identify the host and stop further discovery by the classification critera exclusion measure.

Thanks Doug, Yes , actually the enviornment is pretty distributed and the subnets are all over the place in terms of allocations to Assets , so wanted to check if there was a way to apply exclusions using Device names.
