Hello,
We are going to use SCCM for EUCs and ITOM-Discovery for data center discovery. But discovery finds all ip enabled devices means it will discover and update all EUC data as well in to ServiceNow. How can we exclude EUCs data in ITOM discovery (with assumption that we can't segregate based on ip range)
Regards
kk

Provided both data sources, SCCM and Discovery, are processed through the IRE the records will be merged into one. You can control which source gets to do what with the record.

Hi @kkcommunity ,
For that, You need the IP ranges for EUC devices or Dynamic IP ranges and then you can add those IP in Excluded List of Mid Server or Discovery Schedule for Discovery.

What is the problem with Discovery also populating EUC? If there is a reason to prevent it you can control which data sources get to do what with updating CMDB records with reconciliation rules, you could also update the discovery classifier to not execute the pattern for windows desktops. But overall what issue are you facing?

Not experienced real time issues as we haven't started yet..jut thinking from approach point of view.. if SCCM and discovery finds same EUC and update CMDB,
1) Will there be two records in CMDB with one source as SCCM and one source as ServiceNow discovery?
2) How can i use this data for further process in HAM if two sources populate same asset?
