You're partially right — it's possible that the user doesn't have the necessary access or role.
This could be due to a 'Read' ACL set on the table that includes a specific role. Please double-check the following:
Open the ACLs and review the Read ACLs configured on the table.
Check which roles are listed there.
Make sure the required users have been assigned the appropriate role.
Or try MID Server User Issue
Please mark my response if it was helpful.

Thanks @Sayali_Suryawan ,
Can you confirm what is the minimum role required to run quick ip discovery without giving user complete discovery_admin role?
Thanks,
Rahim

Hello AbdulRahim,
You can try giving users with discovery admin with snc_read_only roles. The read-only role (snc_read_only) restricts a user or a group of users to read-only access on the tables to which the user already has access.
OR
You can create a custom role and apply it to the read ACL, but I'm not entirely sure if this will work without causing errors during the discovery process.
And in any case if it create issue then , it's best to use the discovery admin role.
