How can we modify Out of box subflow if its on read only mode. how to remove the read only mode?

Hi open the subflow right hand side you will have  round corner 3 dots click there and copy sub flow. Refer attached screenshot

You should not edit existing OOB subflows, it will cause issues during upgrades.

Its better to copy the subflow and then add your customizations on top of it
