How can we move Service map from 1 Instnace to another?

Hi,

on my Dev Instance, I have Discovered & created a Service Map. I want to move this Service map to my prod Instance. But nothing is captured in update set. So how can I move this Service map to prod? In this Service map, few components are discovered & few are added manually. I don't want to do this manual work again. 

Any suggest/workaround to accomplish this task?

Okay so this is a complex issue. As it stands right now there is no out of the box way to lift and shift the service maps. HOWEVER HI support has created 2 scripts that can be used to do a 1 time export and import of the service maps. It should not be used to move updates to a service map that already exists and is really for backup and lift and shift purposes.

I can't seem to find the link to the HI article but if you check HI and search for Add all business services to update set you should find it. It's essentially 2 fix scripts that you will use; one add the service maps to an update set and the other gets run after you import the update set to fix the business model. If you can't find it on HI let me know and I'll see if I can find the update set and attach it here.
