How do I determine the OID to get the Serial Number from 1.3.6.1.4.1.11.5.7.5.4 (HP VC Flex-10/10D Module 4.30 ) The out of box OID doesn't pull anything.
I tried several OIDs on this page, but they didn't return anything either:

What is the best way to go about doing this?

I don't think we discovery these devices OOTB, so you will need to create a custom SNMP Probe/pattern to get device via discovery. So the OID record in the servicenow will need to be the sysobjectid and in your probe/pattern you will need to make the call for the OIDs of the data you want to pull from device.
Check out https://community.servicenow.com/community?id=community_article&sys_id=dfd86535db172300f21f5583ca9619dc if you haven't done custom SNMP patterns.

Not quite the answer I was looking for. I know that much. What I don't know is how to figure out which OID is the serial number for this device. Anyone have any ideas?

Please check this .. http://oid-info.com/cgi-bin/display?oid=1.3.6.1.4.1.11.5.7.5.4&action=display
This is OID and you can add that as a custom OID as per Patrick mentioned..
