I am currently running into issues where Discovery is not Discovering the Mid Server that is being used for Discovery. In other words Discovery is not able to Discover the mid Server that is running Discovery. Any suggestions on why this would be happening?

Hello,
ServiceNow fixed this in Quebec to not discover it's own self (after it was reported that the MID server was previously discovering it's own self and they didn't want that to happen) -- this was due to the system defaulting values for other devices to MID Server data if the probes were failing. Other MID servers can discover other MID servers, but due to SN's fix to prevent the above, it won't discover itself:

Hi, what exactly issues are there, please elaborate. As such, discovery of MID server (being used for Discovery) is supported; consider to just configure loopback address 127.0.0.1 in Quick Discovery (or Discovery Schedule) to discover a localhost where MID server is installed.
Hope it helps
