How do you delete an Entry point in a Service Map?

A service mapper added an https entry point for a Service, Now we find that the entry point should be Citrix Xenapp. Because this Service had more than one Entry point, we would like to simply delete that one Entry Point and add the proper Entry Point of the Proper class. When you select an Endpoint from the left and it shows up in the right; there is no "delete Endpoint" button.

Also have found the updating the Endpoint from within the $sa_business_service "Edit Entry Point' pane  doesn't always work.

If on London, open the application service record you want to delete the entry point from. On the form you should see the list of entry points on the left had side, hover ever the entry point and you will see the delete icon. See screenshot below.

It is more of a click and hover, but I had never noticed that feature. And of course the relationship entry between the Entry Point and the Business Service in svc_ci_assoc doesn't get removed until the service is rediscovered. Poking around it seems that is kept in sa_m2m_service_entry_point table.

The real reason this came up is that I have inconsistent behavior of editing/modifying an Entry Point from the $sa_business_service Form. You open the Entry Point form, modify the entry point, click Update; the "Entry Point successfully Updated" message pops up. Most of the time the Entry Point is updated, but in updating the icon path on a Xenapp Entry Point it doesn't always seem to work as expected.

ANyhow thanks!

Hi Duane,

I am trying to configure the xenapp entry point where i have to put host, port, container, icon path, URL? in this case what is the difference between URL & Host & where i can find this information for specific application citirx servers?

Pravin

I dunno, we are still struggling a bit with Xenapp.
