How to add Windows credentials for the Discovery

Dear All,

I am trying to add Windows Credentials in the Credentials for the discovery But I am getting error as Authentication Failed, Could anyone explain me how we could get these Credentials i.e Username and Password?

Hi @Shivam26 

When you install Mid Server in your system, a windows credentials is already been added into credential table. You don't need to now go and add more credentials.

Please see below snap, test your host IP address, on this MID Server, please make sure your pattern are updated.

That credential will be used in the classification phase for the discovering your device.

Yes below two types of credentials we can use for Linux devices, ssh private keys are required and some sudo access also.

Hi @Prabu Velayutha ,

We can discover our personal laptops or other laptops if they are connected to same network. And just at least one Mid Server is needed to discover them, if its installed on any of them. Just make sure we have given the Pre- requisites to discover the devices.
