Are you referring to a form view or a database view? A form view should be captured in an update set. You can select an update set, and make a small change to the form view, then change it back to previous configuration, and it should capture in the update set.
This might help as well:

Hi Tim
I am referring to form view. While I was playing around with routine change view, I broke it. thats why i wanted to import it from another instance.
Thanks

Was it the 'Default' view on the Change Request form, then? You should be able to capture that in an update set from your other instance and move it over.
Cheers,
