How to create an agent alert if it goes down

Hello everyone,
I wanted to know if there is a way to create an alert in case the agent (client collector) is not available (down).
I understand that you can do through event management, but I would need a step by step guide if possible, thanks

How are you telling the system the agent is down? If you have that info coming in, you can create an event rule to match the conditions of the event and an alert rule on the event to handle it further.

"Event Rules" is an item in your navigation menu. If you open that list, you can use the 'new' button to create a new rule.
