Hi all,

How to create/customize new GCP CI classes/ patterns which are not getting discovered via GCP cloud discovery?

What are the steps to create GCP CI classes/ patterns?

Below are the classes which needs to be created in CMDB table so, we can monitor them via GCP Event management -

1.DNS

2.Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)

3.Cloud Composer

4.Cloud Pub/Sub

5.Cloud Run Metrics

6.Dataproc

Please help us on mentioned info

Thanks in advance!!

Please clarify if you want to manually these CIs to ServiceNow CMDB so those can be used to generate tickets for events triggered from event management tool?

Yes, this CIs are not getting discovered through discovery so we need to create it manually or any other method if there so those can be used to generate tickets for events triggered from event management tool.

Did you try discovery and service mapping patterns app available with Discovery license?

try accessing the GCP docs too for discovery related helps for cloud admins

Discovery is not in clients roadmap, they want to us generate GCP events for below mentioned services and Database CPU utilization, Latency, Message Delivery Latency like this metrics. But events are not getting triggered for this services. So there is any other way than discovery to add this service in CMDB table if no then how can we add them using discovery because in GCP cloud discovery we are not able to find this services in discovered CIs table.
