Hi all,
How to create/customize new GCP CI classes/ patterns which are not getting discovered via GCP cloud discovery?
What are the steps to create GCP CI classes/ patterns?
Below are the classes which needs to be created in CMDB table so, we can monitor them via GCP Event management -
1.DNS
2.Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
3.Cloud Composer
4.Cloud Pub/Sub
5.Cloud Run Metrics
6.Dataproc
Please help us on mentioned info
Thanks in advance!!

From what I understand, this is related to Cloud Observability
Try below links for help:
Add CIs to alerts (lightstep.com)
Integrate Google Cloud Platform (GCP) events (servicenow.com)
Hope this helps.

From what I understand, yes.
As you are looking for creating alerts for events from GCP services. What Discovery does is, it captures the information about the servers & services through API calls and updates CIs in ServiceNow CMDB.
Your client requirement as I interpret is to generate events for GCP services utilization.
Let me know, if this works for you.

Hi,
I am wondering why you are not using "Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Resource Inventory" pattern for non-discoverable cloud service.
