Hi experts,
I would like to add a condition to disable classification of windows 10 devices. I do not want discovery to update CIs with OS Windows 10 enterprise. In order to do this, I've tried the following.
1. I've set the generic windows classification to false. This did not work.
2. As shown in previous picture, I created a new rule and named it windows 10 enterprise and added the below condition. This too did not work. Discovery still passed the classification phase and updated the CI.
Ran quick discovery and the CI was still getting updated.
One way to prevent this is to exclude these ips from discovery range but our manager does not want this approach. Any help is highly appreciated. Thanks

Hi,
If you know the IPs and can exclude them from the range, that would be the best because then Discovery will not even try to discover them. If not then look into Reconciliation Rules.
https://docs.servicenow.com/bundle/xanadu-servicenow-platform/page/product/configuration-management/...
There you should be able to set up a condition that the discovery source is only allowed to update if OS is not Windows 10 Enterprise.

Niklas
