we have existing configured identification rules for MS SQL Database class and this rule has criterion attributes are 'Class' & 'Data Base' , while doing discovery for MS SQL Databases, many Duplicate MS SQL Databases are created by same name.
Can you help me on this why duplicate MS SQL Databases are created even we have Identification rule for MS SQL Database class.
is there any mistake in the MS SQL Database identification rule(such as any mistake in the criterion attributes) ?

Can you try setting name as identifier attribute?
What is the discovery sources for other duplicate entries? Hope all data sources are ingested through IRE and it excludes manual entry.
Please mark helpful and correct if solution works.

Things to check :
1) What is the discovery source for this? if you are not using ServiceNow discovery then make sure you call IRE before inserting anything in CMDB.
2) Cross-check the IRE with PDI.
