If credential affinity fails... What happens?

Hello, I have a question

What happens if the credential affinity fails?

For example, suppose you discover a device from IP 1.1.1.1.

It has five credentials tied to an alias, and one of those credentials has an affinity created.

If you change the username password for the credential that has an affinity created, the discovery of the device from the 1.1.1.1 IP will fail.

Will the midserver try to connect to the device on the 1.1.1.1 IP with the other four credentials?

Personally, I wish affinity would just fail and be done with it.

Any answers would be appreciated!

First it tries with the affinity if it does not work then it should try the other credentials. Is it not trying now?
