in my PDI the MID server is showing "Validating" status for more than an hour

In my PDI I have a MID server. And its been almost 3-4 hours that "validate" field is still showing Validating. Is this common in PDI ?

Hi @Sangeeta Das 

go to  to your server where mid server has installed then you need to restart the mid server from there. and see if that is working or not.

This MID server came automatically built in as a part of ServiceNow PDI. I do not have any Windows/Linux machine where I can actually install the MID server. Therefore I do not have access to the server..

Hi @Sangeeta Das you can install mid server check these steps before installing .

The MID Server supports these Windows operating systems, including virtual machines and 64-bit systems:

  • Windows Server 2012
  • Windows Server 2016
  • Windows Server 2019
