Insert URL link in an Incident

Is there a way to insert a hotlink in an incident?   We want the ability to insert a URL link either in the short description or additional comments section and have the link open in a new tab.   Any feedback much appreciated!

Neither of the two fields you mentioned allow HTML.

Have you thought about using the URL variable to create a link?

Mike Moody is correct the best way to capture a URL would be in a URL field type.   Hope that helps, let us know what solution you go with!!
