Install Discovery plugin is failing, please help

Hello,

I am getting a failure email when trying to activate the Discovery plugin. Can you help?

I would suggest, go to your instance, in left navigation, type "Plugins", search for Discovery among the list of plugins and install.

This has worked out for me, when installing fails from Developer site.

It doesn't show up in my developer instance.

Oh right only Service mapping can be done from within the instance.

I would suggest try and install again, it sometimes fails due to long time, would suggest to do it in off hours(again there is no science to it, key is to keep trying).

Hi there,

Sometimes indeed the plugin installation does fail. Though... in most cases... this is just due to a timeout and actually the plugin did got activated after 1 - 2 hours!
Hundreds of similar questions have been posted the past year+ regarding Discovery, SAM, Event Mgt, etc..

Can you verify again, in the plugin list on your instance?
