Hi All
We are pretty new to ServiceNOW and have just started running Discovery
We have a number of Nutanix clusters running their native Acropolis hypervisor, does anyone know if there is an Discovery probe? or integration for this OS & hardware, as we are unable to Classify these servers.
thanks

you will to develop your own custom probe, sensor and classifier to discover nutaix AHV cluster and CVM.
There is no OOB probe you can reuse to discovery these type of servers.

Sachin

hi Steph,
i'm from the pattern dev team, and we are currently working on a pattern to discover Nutanix. we'd be happy to work with you if you'd like to grant us access to your nutanix servers, so we could develop it against your enviroment's configuration. feel free to contact me at daniel.badyan@servicenow.com. thanks!

Hi Daniel,
Does your team publish which patterns you are working on and which patterns you would be interested in collaborating on?
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
thanks for showing interest in the product. unfortunately the answer is no, we don't publish it... i think the reason is it's problematic in case a customer signs a contract that depends on future development and we eventually end up not adding this content(this almost never happens, but still).
as for collaboration, we don't do that as well but i personally intend to publish posts of this sort on the forums every once in a while, when relevant.
