Is it possible to Discover of DELL PowerVault ME5 series via probes?

Hi experts,
I am still a newbie at discovery and has been an interest area. We have a setup of horizontal discovery( probe- based ) and i am trying to discovery a storage array at a certain IP included in Discovery IP ranges. The device i am trying to discover is DELL PowerVault ME5 series.
I saw that in documentation that servicenow discovery supports SMI-S supported devices. Is it possible to discover this device with Pattern-based discovery? Will switching probes to pattern based discovery help?

I've also been struggling with the lack of support for these guys. I was using a custom pattern, then tried network switch which worked to at least get them as usable CIs. You have to build an snmp OID classifier to link them together.
I'm going down the Dell EMC OpenManage Integration with ServiceNow route currently.
