I can't find anywhere on the Forums or the wiki that show how to do this.
I don't think it's very time efficient for me to crawl through all of the Unclassified devices and manually add the OIDs for each of them. We do not want to extend Service-Now either, the categories that exist are working perfectly for us at the moment.
Please help.
thanks

Yes there is, you have to add the MIB to the mid servers. On the left hand pane Navigate to "Mid Servers -> SNMP MIB's". Create a new record with the same name as your MIB file and save. Then attach your MIB file to the newly created record.
There are a couple already existing as examples.

I am trying to classify Windows Workstations via SNMP based discovery as that is the only available option.
I have added the following MIBs to SN.
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa379157%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
Do I need to add more?
Is there any other config/scripting steps involved for proper classification on a Berlin instance?
I have confirmed that the SNMP Community password has both read & write access and the MID server IP has access to target machines via SNMP.
The payload returned from the SNMP probe has a bunch of OIDs with basic information like system name, IP address, CPU, RAM etc
Please let me know, thanks,
Subash Biswas
