Hi all, we have new mid servers doing a first time discovery from ServiceNow. Windows 2003 servers do not seem to be discovered when running horizontal discovery. Is there a way to discover them using ServiceNow? or is it no longer supported?

Look in the table discovery_classy_windows. You should see an active entry for Windows 2003 server.

but don't the servers need to have at least powershell v3.0 at a minimum in order to be discovered by the mid server? most 2003 servers have powershell 1.0 or 2.0 and I don't think they can be updated to 3.0?

PowerShell 2.0 has limited support.

What is the error you are getting? What happens when you try to run quick discovery directly against the Server 2003 IP address?
