Hi All,
I’m using the ACC-V tool for discovery, but I’ve noticed that while some products appear in the 'cmdb_sam_sw_install' table, they aren’t being populated in the 'samp_sw_usage' table. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Is there a known limitation within ACC-V that could be preventing certain products from being discovered or listed in the table?
Any insights or solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Satheesh

Hi @satheeshnkl
If the SAM Pro is enabled software installation will be populated in cmdb_sam_sw_install instead of cmdb_ci_spkg with discovery source servicenow.
samp_sw_usage will be used for the software usage to get last usage & Total usage

Hi @SK Chand Basha
Thanks for your response.
I’ve noticed that while installation records are properly populated in the Install table, only a limited number of software usage records appear in the Usage table. Currently, I see usage data for only 27 products, whereas the Install table has records for over 100 products.
Is there any limitation with ACC-V when it comes to fetching usage data? Or could this be due to specific configurations or criteria for capturing usage?
Any insights would be appreciated.
Thanks
Satheesh

Hi @satheeshnkl
you need to create the Reclamation rules on the products.
The limitation is only products contains .app Extensions are able to pull the software usage.
