I am working on Discovery Fundamentals, Module 9, Task #2: Create an Itunes pattern. I have done everything I can think of to do in the identification steps and I still get: "Did you check the steps in the identification section are configured and tested correctly? every time I try to validate my steps. Can someone check and tell me where I am going wrong? I have been at this for 4 days already and I cannot get past this step.

@ShaniK In Step 4 and Step 5, the name has to be $short_description. Though it's asked to configure as ' $cmdb_ci_appl[1].short_description', the screen shot in the step shows only the field name.
If this still doesn't work, please share the screen shots after pressing 'Test' for the steps 2, 3 and 4. Only then, we can debug, the values are fetched correctly.

Can you try removing the " around iTunes in Step 2? Not sure, if that is the issue, just a wild guess.

I configured steps 4 and 5 as you have suggested and I also made sure that after I ran discovery again that the itunes was able to be found under applications
