Hi Folks,
Our support desk named a laptop, but the CI appears to not be updating on ServiceNow (still has old CI name). Shouldn't this update via Discovery?

Is it just not the name that is updating? If so check to see you have the discovery definition > properties > aways update hostname checked. Or you might check to see if someone has set up some data precedence rules (Class manager) that might be preventing the update.
If nothing is getting updated check to see if the identification rules are just creating a new CI...
