Hello Experts,
I am creating few discovery schedules and providing the location as example 'loc1' since we do not know the exact location right now. So please correct me if I am wrong. When the discovery runs all CI created for this schedule will have location as 'loc1'. Now later on if I update the Discovery Schedule with the correct location when I get ,the next time when schedule runs will it update all those hundreds of records which it has discovered with new location ?
Thanks

IRE is used to properly match to the existing entires in the CMDB. But the location field on the discovery schedules will update the locations on the CI's discovered during the run.

Yes. ServiceNow's Identification and Reconciliation engine (IRE) should update the field.
