Maint role?

How does one add themself to the MAINT role?

MAINT is hidden from the roles list. You can't search for it. Only way I found it was looking through ACLs and found a clickable link on a row that requires it. I cannot add myself to the role, though. It lets me submit the form but it never saves (or it saves and a policy runs instantly afterwards to remove me).

Any ideas?

I had problems with text searches not working and they said

"Many text_index events were queued in your system, for some reason the Text Index job could not process them

The unprocessed text index events are from 10/19/2012 till today.

To process them, set the Text Index job to Error state and reset back to Ready state. Now the text_index are processing. It should still take a while, because there were about 400K events queued.

From the events page I can't reset the state that says 'ready' to anything else. I don't have the proper rights (I have admin). I suspect I need MAINT?

I just checked an i'm able to change the state of the index Job.

Go to System "Scheduler/Scheduled Jobs" and open the "text index events process" -> see printscreen
