When changing the CI Class I noticed the Managed By Group is removed on the updated CI record. I understand this is normal out the box behavior and makes sense to a degree that if you change for example a Windows Server to a Load Balancer, you wont want the Windows Support team looking after it. However in some cases it is causing issues.
Is this automatic removal configurable in any way? Im struggling to find any guidance for it.
Thanks!

In CI class manager basic info you can give the managed by information for the class. So even if the class changes it will still be able to update.
