We installed the MID Server using the ServiceNow documentation linked below. However, since it was installed on a laptop, it is constantly down, and the client has host available.

The client has provided the hostname and IP address. The question is: how do we install the MID Server using this information, and how application is installed on the MID Server?

- Install it on a Server.
- The Servers needs access to the internet and needs to be able to communicate with the instance and install.service-now.com, also the server should not be accessible from the internet.
Is this being installed on Linux or Windows OS?

Do you have any documentation link to refer on above? We have Hostname and Ip address.

I would just use the MSI installer. It guides you thought the process instead of editing the config.xml.
