Hi,
I am aware that the MID servers used for Events do NOT support a cluster MID server.
We are trying to build a HA solution.
Can we have a MID server in a datacenter in NYC and another MID server in Seattle?
I am looking for a way to ensure that the MID server in the NYC datacenter is used first and only if the NYC datacenter is unavailable to use the MID servers in Seattle.
Thank you

Technically Yes ..Its possible provided Opened Ports and N/W Communication is supported between those 2 Dcs .
NYK- Mid1 --> Event Management Tool Reachability
Seattle - Mid2 -->Event Management Tool Reachability
Service Now Communication with Mid1 and Mid2
One more Point here may be Latency to consider but technically its doable.
Regards

HI Rahul,
thank you for your reply.
I was told that we can have more then 1 MID server, but the MID server which starts the communication first will be the active one.
Do you have details on how I can specify which MID server should be the active one and which one should be the failover one?
Thanks
