Mid Servers not visible in my instance

Hi all

I have  done a new MID server installation. The MID server installed and connected successfully. No error in the log also.

The mid server is reflected in the list of services in my system also.

But the mid servers are not visible in my instance.

Could anyone please help me in this regard, why the mid servers are not visible in my instance?

Thanks & Regards

Ram

Hi RaviRaja

Please check "Mid server" -> "Servers" module, do you see your server there? If yes, does it have a status Up/Yes?

Would be great to know where exactly it is not visible in the instance.

Hope it helps

No the mid servers are not visible in my instance.

Hi, check if instance URL and user credentials are defined correctly; restart your MID server after changes are applied to its configuration. Consider a quick test - on the host machine where you installed the MID Server, open a browser and navigate to the instance; use your new MID Server user credentials to log in. The login should be successful.

Hi @RaviRaja ,

Didi you create a ServiceNow user for your MID Server and does that user have the role "mid_server"?

Did you enter the credentials of the MID server user at file "config.xml"?

Did you checked the MID server logs for any connection problems?

At your MID server host: Did you ping the ServiceNow instance (in the best case you can open a browser on your MID server host and load the login page of your ServiceNow instance)?

Are there any firewalls or virus scanning tools active on your MID server host, which could prevent connecting to your ServiceNow instance?

Kind regards
Maik
