Hi Guys,

I am discovering mssql database running on windows server xyz.

so there are more the 20+ database running on the xyz.

but when I run individual discovery on server Xyz it only gives me database instance name as MSFT SQL Instance

instead of all the databases running on the same.

I have also given sysadmin access on the database to service account still it didn't help.

Please help me understand and resolve the issue.

Are they individual instances running on the host? Sounds as if there is only one sql server running and you may be having issues with collecting the catalog information.

yes we are not able to collect catalog info as well, please help me how to resolve this issue

Ok cool, then just (if you haven't already) have the credentials in the instance as outlined here. AND be sure you are using the pattern for MSSQl and not probes/sensors!

were you able to resolve this ?

It looks to me a credential issue also.
