NetApp Discovery

I am having some issues around NetApp Storage Cluster-Mode discovery using Patterns. My accounts are correct using ONTAPI but I am getting the following error.

<error>
Failed to connecting to device Please verify you have valid credentials and the device is reachable via the mid server.
for more information go to MID logs
</error>

I see in the NetAppProvider script that is says "Uses NetApp Manageability SDK 5.3", does this need to be installed on the MidServers?

HI,

Are you sure that you have MID server in this network and have valid credentials as well. We need SNMP and ONTP credentials both.

Also MID Should have Capabilities as ALL. No Firewall restrictions to allow communication between ips and Mid server.

Please use Pattern debug option to find more details description of error.

Thanks,
Ashutosh

Hello cardanid,

Do you have both required credentials setup for NetApp Discovery? You need to have the local ONTAP credentials, but you also need SNMP credentials for the NetApp server. Also, I'm guessing that you have glide.discovery.sensors.netapp_native_cluster_mode sys_property set to true, but just placing in case.
