Hi,

 

Does anyone successfully configured service mapping in a Citrix NetScaler environment? if so please share the procedural document on sidenotes due to organizational security policy ssh port is not permitted in our environment..

I believe most of the Citrix NetScalers can be discovered by SNMP credentials. All you need is SNMP credentials, MIBs, and correct Discovery configuration.

The SNMP community string requires read-only access to the Citrix NetScaler MIB.

I am currently working through a similar NetScaler discovery scenario. SNMP discovery runs and collects the VPX configuration, including the management IP, serial number, VIPs, services, and pool members. However, ServiceNow does not reconcile the result with the VPX CI previously created through SDX discovery. Instead, it creates another CI with the generic name netscaler.

Were you able to get SNMP-based discovery and Service Mapping working correctly in your environment? If so, could you share whether any changes were required to the SNMP configuration, classifier, MID Server selection, or identification rules?
